There was an Extension to Load Gifs but it is deleted.
Search for a Extension for that.

I don’t think there is a need for an extension that can play gifs on this platform. As a file type, gif causes a lot of crashes.
Instead it gives you a better quality and reliable and simpler than gif file; I recommend the following method, which you can intervene in any way you want.

Actually the solution suggested by @Profi_Game can be found in the below topic, extract gif to frames and use clock to show them one by one
