Detext incoming phone call on mobile app in the background

Hi everyone

I’m trying to create a mobile app that runs in the background and loads some interface when there is an incoming phone call when the phone starts ringing.

I tried Kodular, with the PhoneCall component. It doesn’t work when I use its PhoneCallStarted
and anyway, if I understand correctly, the PhoneCall component won’t work in the background, while the app is invisible and won’t get approved by the Google Play store.

Could someone please advise me on a good way to do it?
Whether in Kodular, maybe with some paid or free extension?
Or maybe some other no-code platform?

I mean if I want to sell this app it should be able to be downloaded from the Google Play store, right?

Detect that there is a call

I now looked into this more in detail… as the phone call component is written, it unregisters the broadcast receiver which listens to changes of the phone state when the app closes…so the phonecall component can’t be used to listen to events in the background… here are the blocks of the not working test project [Screenshot 2024-06-21 165040] however an extension could be written which continues to listen to phone state changes to also receive that event in the background Taifun

So there is still no extension like this, but you can build one you say?
But if I understood correctly, the Phone Call component needs permissions that would make the app not verified by the Play Store no? I mean I want the app to be verified and sold through the stores. Or maybe I didn’t understand it correctly?
