I managed to change Traget SdkVersion to 30 using APK Editor Studio. But can anybody please let me know how to convert apk file to aab.
Currently not possible
Limited offer, I can change target sdk version to 30 in the manifest file…
Aab = Yes
Apk to Aab = Yes (more instructions are needed)
NOTE: you will have to do one more thing at your side before uploading it to GPlay, signing your AAB with your keystore…
NOTE: I can’t confirm anything if it works, as I don’t have GPlay account.
P.S. please don’t ask how it’s done…
Please can you tell me how its done?
how it’s not done?
Don’t joke if your app is in the playstore with good user base you also curious about when kodular update their api. If someone do this type of joke mr.pe**r delete thier topic.

Hi, I have a lot of apps in playstore and I have to update the apps with new SDK version as without of this I can’t give any update in playstore. And my ad network also force to update the apps like fb wants bidding if I couldn’t update the app they stop the ads.
The issue is not about ads it’s about bugs fixing in my new update of my apps.
Just Say when will SDK will be update so we couldn’t posting about this. If we get actual date .
Moderators please take this issue seriously and don’t flag my reply.
Good to know you’ve found a way.
But signing was / is the next big problem.
Actually I had this solution for months, but because of what you said in one of the post
Nevertheless, with my tests I’m able to go from aab to apk rebuild apk to aab, back and forth without a issue with only one keystore…
Going through Google you are using two keystore’s
FYI,
From August 2021 , the Google Play Console will require all new apps to:
- Publish with the Android App Bundle format.
- Utilize Play Asset Delivery or Play Feature Delivery to deliver assets or features that exceed download size of 150MB. Expansion files (OBBs) will no longer be supported for new apps.
- Target API level 30 (Android 11) or above and adjust for behavioral changes.
In your case as you want to update your apps
Requirements for updates to existing apps
From November 2021 , updates to existing apps will be required to target API level 30 or above and adjust for behavioral changes in Android 11. Existing apps that are not receiving updates are unaffected and can continue to be downloaded from the Play Store.
You have time until November
what exactly prevents you from building an apk file in SDK29 and update your existing project in Google Play?
Taifun
Hey Taifun,
Any idea what’s the api version upgrade time kodular takes on an average from Google Play Store deadline dates. You must have seen this in the past and you are the most experienced. Thought of asking you.
they always try to update asap
Taifun
Do we have to recreate the app for api level 30 which is already created for Target api 29?
