I’m facing a strange issue with my Kodular project.
Initially, I added a custom Google Play Billing extension using the latest Billing Library (v7). Google Play Console still showed this error:
“Your app currently uses Play Billing Library version AIDL and must update to at least version 6.0.1.”
To troubleshoot, I created a completely new Kodular project and removed all Google Play Billing code, components, and extensions. The app now only contains basic components like WebViewer and AdMob.
However, after building the new AAB and uploading it to Play Console, I still get the same AIDL Billing error.
Things I’ve already tried:
- Removed Google Billing extension completely.
- Created a fresh Kodular project.
- Uploaded a new AAB with a higher version code.
- Removed OneSignal components.
- Imported only the required components again.
The error still appears even though my app no longer contains any billing implementation.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Is there any built-in Kodular library or dependency that could still trigger Google’s AIDL Billing detection?
