but what about m3u8 url ? how can i get m3u8 link for y videos ?

You cant get a m3u8 url for youtube. You can only use youtube link to play videos and those are not m3u8.
I have tried to uncheck captions in youtube video via your custom controls player but it always shows captions. Any suggestions?

Check the custom controls aia file to understand how to disable captions
I have checked and tried. It still doesn’t disable captions in youtube videos.

In the test path option specify the path for test companion files
Try these two path values hope they work :
1- file:///storage/emulated/0/Makeroid/assets/external_comps/Plyr/assets/index.html
2- file:///mnt/sdcard/Makeroid/assets/external_comps/Plyr/assets/index.html
If these don’t work let me know.
