If you need this yes. Or try to create an extension. But if it were easy or even possible there would be an extension.

Unfortunately, I will have to abandon it in my application because I am not ready to restore the application from scratch in android studio and I am not able to create an extension

Sorry but then thats the way it is. I dont think appinventor can even do this (since it also cant have widgets).
