Sorry if this is a very newbie question, but I can’t figure out how to rename screen 1. Is it possible?

It is not possible to rename screen1 in creator.
Maybe we can rename it from AIA.
Doesn’t Kodular block you from modifying the code from the aia file?
If not, what program can modify the scm (I think it’s scm) file?
Any text editor can edit the SCM and BKY files. However, it’s advisable not to do so.

Why? No one sees your screen name, right? I don’t think you can/should rename your main screen.
Yes, and renaming Screen1 would cause errors.

As advised above not to edit the screen! name or aia with editor.
Editing without proper knowledge may lead to breakage of several things and even the project may even not get uploded or if it uploads then it may lead to building issues

Yes it’s possible just copy the screen1 with new name and delete old screen1
No, isn’t possible
Screen1 can not be renamed on Creator. But, it can be renamed on AIA. Works fine.

Yes you can rename it by editing AIA.
But remember this can cause some problems.
