Kodular starter (makeroid.exe) is infected with a virus?

Describe your issue

This school year, I plan to use Kodular with my students to develop prototypes of their applications. We are installing the Kodular Starter (Makeroid.exe) downloaded from the official site. When the installer runs, the antivirus blocks it and displays the message on the screen alerting that “the file is infected with Win32:Malware-gen”.

We have tried to install it in two different computer rooms and also at home. The message is the same. This is not the case with Starter programs on other platforms.

What do you recommend? Is it a false positive?

I really like Kodular’s proposal and I want to spread it, but this has slowed me down.

EDITED

Btw, Makeroid starter won’t work with Kodular. I think you have to wait. I would also contact your Anti-Virus Software about this issue, Kodular can’t do anything about it.

Hello @oaltair !
We can assure you that there are no viruses with the Starter downloaded from the official site.

Infact, the code for the Starter is available on GitHub.

If you have any further queries, feel free to ask and we would be more than happy to help you !
