A similar thing happened with me yesterday. Not with any function but with button click.

Suddenly the action that was intended to occur on button click stopped out of nowhere. No matter how many times I tried but all in vain. I got stuck there for approx 10 mins trying everything to bring it back to normal but every try was a failure.

Then after sometime when I checked, I came to know that the action was added under the click event of another button whose name was pretty much similar to that of a newly added button on the click of which I was trying to generate the action
So follow the naming convention
