Need Guidance for Google Ad Manager Setup in Kodular (Collaborated with Company)

Hello everyone,

I need some urgent guidance regarding Google Ad Manager (GAM) integration in Kodular.

Previously, I was using AdMob, so I am familiar with AdMob setup. However, I have now shifted to Google Ad Manager, and I honestly do not have much practical experience with it yet.

Recently, I collaborated with a company that will run and manage ads for my app through Google Ad Manager (GAM). I added them as an Inventory Manager in my Google Ad Manager account so they can create and manage ad units and line items.

Now they are asking me to provide an “Ad Tag”, and I am confused.

I would really appreciate clarification on the following:

  1. What exactly is an Ad Tag in Google Ad Manager for Mobile Apps?
  2. Since I am using Kodular, do I need to manually generate any ad tag?
  3. Or is the Ad Unit ID (in the format /networkcode/adunitcode) considered the ad tag for mobile apps?
  4. If they create an ad unit inside my GAM account, how should I implement that Ad Unit ID properly in my Kodular app?
  5. Besides the Ad Unit ID, what else is required for proper setup?
  • Network Code
  • App linked in GAM
  • Line items targeting the ad unit
  • Anything else?

This setup is very important for my app’s monetization and reputation, so I want to make sure everything is implemented correctly and professionally.

If anyone has experience integrating Google Ad Manager with Kodular, please guide me step-by-step:

  • Proper GAM setup for mobile apps
  • What exactly should be shared with the Inventory Manager
  • How to correctly implement Banner and Interstitial in Kodular
  • Common mistakes to avoid

Your guidance would really help me a lot :folded_hands:
Thank you in advance. @JEWEL

I would like know what you have tried so far, there’s still few ways to get what you are asking about

Maybe this may help you

Unfortunately, the use of Google Ad Manager extensions is not allowed. As Kodular provides native Google Ad Manager components, the use of an extension implies a breach of the Terms of Service. (ref)

Okay got it.
