This is a problem with the discourse software. Nobody is doing anything. If it bothers you just mute the user you get notifications from. And please @rizu don’t accuse users of doing anything. They don’t.

, I will never call you do*.I am lucky. I got spammed only 3 times in this week. One from @Boban and others are from @sonumohammad333
Edit :- here is my mostly spammed screenshot which is 16 day ago
You can mute the topic instead of the user so you still get relevant notifications from them

Youtube Is not Sending notification if the channel is already subscribed (by hitting

I am getting this problem also, with a post from @Boban also 
even if we watch a topic, we should not get the same notification a lot of times.

Everyday I get 1 notification regarding their replies in a topic i created
