This is not possible in the extension Just send all data and add some logic on your server to ignore those records you do not want… you additionally might want to send the accuracy to the server to be able to identify those records Taifun

I read from your specs: Version 3b: no automatic shutdown if GPS is not available anymore, another location provider will be used in this case, which might have worse accuracy.
I think you say it is if gps not available, but was useful if gpshas not a fix. For example when you are moving and go inside a house gps not able to fix position, so is useful if locationService switch to GSM/WIFI fix, waiting to resume to gps if fix is available. What do you think about ? Thank you every case.

this means if the user disables GPS while the service is running then another location provider will be used
