The only reason I suggested this is so you don’t have to download all these files on the first run of the app, whether it’s 50, 100 or 500 files and btw, you can still update your files when the internet is available.
Of course it does, you don’t even want to try to read or try that option.

Dear @Boban thanks for your time and co-operation. I have read, tried and done. I have done it another way see the blocks:
Now the next task is:
check whether the internet is available on app startup
if internet is available check the already files and download if the new files are available.
secure the folder where the files are downloaded. Means the files should not be shown in gallery (done it with .nomedia). The user must not access the files but these are available for app
Any piece of help please?

Use the built in component
You need to do it even for the first run however, since we have different set-up of code I don’t know if this helps and should be run at the beginning
Check if the file exists, for this you need to use Taifun’s file extension
Two files are missing and again you need to use the same procedure as you did at the first run
Just to be clear so that there will not be any confusion in this, you are using my solution
