Describe your issue

The problem is that the Surface View component is making the app crashes after the last SDK 34 update.

Steps to reproduce the issue

Simply adding the component to the project make it crash after compile and open the app.

Expected Behaviour

App correctly open as usual, and the normal use of the component.

Actual Behaviour

App crashing just after clicking on it.

Android version

Android 14. Galaxy S21+.

The component Surface View makes the app crashes after the last update to SDK34. Before that it was working just fine. I need that component in my app, how can it be resolved?

I was using that component in my OCR app to continue capture images and detect text with the “save preview” option.

Any help appreciated
