what does that variable contains, check this giving the value or not
the variable contain string value. how can i change it to number or decimal? i get the value from blynk cloud where the value will keep changing.
convert the text block to number block 1 or 2…
or
change the text to String

Try with String and Number in lowercase - e.g. string, number.
Make sure your globals have values, perhaps test with just numbers first
