Does Applovin really pay publishers, or are they just scammers? I have used http://StartApp.io, Unity, and AdMob in my apps, but I have never experienced this kind of issue with payments. Since 2023, when I started using Applovin, I haven’t received any payments. The first time they sent a check payment of $32, it never reached me. I contacted them through email after email, and it took almost 4 months to resolve the issue. I had to stop using their services for a while. When they finally resolved the issue by canceling the check, marking it as rejected, I decided to start using their services again, which I regret today.
Since the check wasn’t reaching me, I was advised to set up another payment method, so I switched to a bank transfer with a $150 threshold. As my app is still small, it took me months to reach the $150 threshold. I finally hit the threshold in July, and the dashboard showed that I had earned $170+ from Applovin Exchange and Applovin Bidding, which they claim they only pay for. According to their 15-day payment schedule, I was supposed to receive my payment on August 15th. But when August 15th came, no invoice was issued.
I contacted them, and they replied that I hadn’t reached the threshold. I asked them to review my earnings, but they didn’t respond. I kept emailing them with a download of the earnings analysis from their website, but I only received robotic replies that didn’t address my questions. I kept hoping I would get my payment in September, but as of September 5th, no invoice has been generated. All invoices, according to them, are generated at the end of the month if the threshold is reached.
The last invoice I received was for the $32 payment in 2023, and a June 2024 invoice of $113. Adding my July and August earnings, my total should be $195, which is well above the threshold. I’ve been emailing them since September 1st to ask if they have checked things out to confirm if I will receive my payment this month, but I have received no response.
