Description

This extension provides a few calculators, and conversion utilities. In addition this returns any set weight on different planet in our solar system based on their celestial parameters, and includes the option to create your own planet, set it’s parameters.

The conversions are as follows:

AU - Meters
Earths Velocity Factor - Meters/Second
Earths Mass Factor - Kilograms
Earths Radius Factor - Meters
Parsecs - AU
Lightyears - AU
Lightyears - Parsecs
Imperial Pounds - Kilograms.

Instructions

You can calculate your weight on a different planet by using this block.

The Planet name options are, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto and Custom. (Case is not sensitive)

The weight is in kgs, however if you do not know your kg weight, you can use

image.

If you want to create your own planet, you can use Earth as a reference point, and set it up as follows:

Or you can enter in the values yourself and play with the results.

Output Example

Here, if I weighed 99 kgs, this is the details of Mercury. Shows the exact year period, what percentage of your perceived weight if you are standing on the planet, and what that would relate to if measured on a scale.
