Cannot get a picture file on my phone with Camera

Hi, I looked for the topic and I find several solutions but nothing seems to work. I just call the camera to take a picture in my app. The app asks for the picture and the confirmation button is ok but I can’t find the picture file in anywhere. Can someone please help me? I use a Xiaomi Redmi note 9 pro with Android 11. Thanks
