its working for me, make sure you are using small letters for speed, no S capital
Same for me. Everytime I try to add materials icons it doesn’t work. It works on the builder, but not on the app.

Yes, It is working only in Builder
Not working in companion
and even after installing compiled apk in real phone and emulator
To simplify, some icons are only working in builder
