Check incoming call

Hi,
i am creating an app and it should check if there is an incoming phone call, and from who.
here are my ideas, but none of them work:

Does anyone have even an idea, it would be greatly appreciated.

Phone Call Started (status, phoneNumber)|Indicates that a phone call has started.
1. If ‘status’ is 1 incoming call is ringing;
2. if ‘status’ is 2, outgoing call is dialed

have you checked while app running, because if app is closed then it will not work.
