I made @Taifun’s compass a little bit softer so that the compass needle doesn’t bounce back and forth so crazy. The needle reacts as if stored in liquid. Maybe someone can use it or beginners can see how I did it.

The design is from Taifun and Wikipedia and also kept very simple, for me it was about the sluggish behavior.
The if / then greater / smaller calculation leads to problems with older or slower devices.
It’s better like this …
