Connecting with Google Calender API. Is this method still usable?

I was having a hard time going through this method.
‏مجموعات Google stuck at the very intial step of getting my SHA1 key. so I went through the comment and i read some say back in 2017 that this method is no longer working due to google no longer allowing webviewer an access to Aouth. i read that online elsewhere as well. yet when i search on this community i see posts this year still recommending this method. so does it work or not??

I don’t know, about which method you are talking, but why don’t you try this
