You are just AMAZING!!!:-). Thank you so much for the block finder !!! You have saved me lots of hours what i would have spent with findings my blocks!:rocket::rocket::rocket: It was the biggest thing what i was missing from AI.

Please let me know how can i support you. “Buy Me a coffee” above does not work…i have tried all the options, but non of them works…without +91 mobile, with international bank cads…and for some reason google pay app does not have QR code scanning possibilities in Hungary…do you have Paypal, or a bank account ect.?

@HritikR I have a suggestion if possible.

Sometimes we fold blocks, so why not have a new version to expand blocks when searching.

I’m already working on this feature.

Another really useful feature: Is this possible?

Finding the location of text.

Think of the browser Find function (this is from Chrome). You enter text, it finds all the occurrences of that text, then it allows you to step to each occurrence.

For example: I call a procedure several different places. I want to find each place I call the procedure and maybe add a block or two. Or maybe I have a variable that I want to find each place it is used.

Is this possible?

Barry.

You can use search bar for finding blocks using keywords or text.

For Finding Procedure Definition
Def:Procedure Name

For Finding Procedure Call
Call: Procedure name

It works:-) Thank you!

Dear HritikR,

thank you so much for this wonderful work ; we can save hours and hours using it during application development and this feature was really missing !

I was wondering if it possible to simply add a ‘next/previous’ occurrence on the search engine ?

For example with procedures or variables, I want to find where the variable is initialized of course but also where in the blocks the variable is tested/changed/used/etc… for this I need to be able to jump from one occurrence to the next, like the ‘find’ feature in text mode.

Thank you again.

This would be great idea to implement to block finder. Adding this to extension will make it slow but I will give it a try. Thanks for the suggestion

Deear @HritikR ,

New update soon?

We are eagerly waiting for it :star_struck::star_struck:

Hi @Nader_El-Sayed ,
Update has already been pushed to CDN.
You can clear cache and try it or It will take 7 days (depends on browser) to automatically clear extension cache and update its files.

CollapseBlock

that’s really great ! @HritikR

but what’s your opinion about making it expand when searching any block into the event blocks , not searching the event blocks itself ?! that was my suggestion before .

like this :

& sorry for my English

It works ok for small projects. When it comes to big projects extension points for empty space (if a targeted objects is included in a big function).

If it’s possible extension should expand collapsed block and lookup for it in expanded procedure/event. It looks like the extension finding the position of targeted object like the whole block would be expanded (in reality it’s collapsed) so it points towards empty space.
