Find Blocks - Blocks Finder

I don’t know what do you mean by empty space. This extension works with Blockly’s block list which provides all the available blocks in the workspace. I have added auto-expanding and collapsing in the latest updates.

What is the version number or date of the newest version?

Version- 4, Updated Script is pushed to CDN so you can check out by clearing your browser’s cache or using the extension in incognito mode

This is an awesome Extention. Please add the “Component Block” list by letters sequences. I think it will be easy to find targeted blocks.

It works! I was sure I was using the newest version, because there was version: 4 in extension information. Extension is for sure great! But can u improve update process to be sure an user use up to date version? There’s no information in description the extension downloads new files independently.

It directly loads the script from CDN. Your browser usually caches the script and as per your browser, it takes 7 days to automatically update cached files.

BlockFinder does not download any new files into you computer

Ok. I don’t want to be tedious, but what if u improve your extension faster than 7 days interval? Is it possible to change extension version or any hint in extension information every time there are changes? That’s just my suggestion. I know nothing about creating web extensions and I dont know if it’s hard to add some extra json template to extension description

It’s not bad, but it’s hard to know if I use the newest version. You can add some description to main post what’s the update procedure, because you wrote it in the comments below and for someone it would be hard to find!

Your web extension is very powerful! Thanks for sharing it.

I think you don’t need to click on the extension as it doesn’t have a menu? Plus the search bar is already present in the workspace

Man, this is a real amazing feature. I don’t have much, but I will make a donation for you right now and as soon as i can I will donate more. This extension will save a lot of time…

I have only one question (and sorry if already asked / aswered), probably anyone that uses the extension can answer. I don’t find the answer by myself because I don’t have a computer where I can use it right now.
The extension works if the block is collapsed? Because I normally have 80% of the blocks collapsed.

@almeidapablo Thanks! yes, it works with collapsed blocks.

This would be really great and make the extension absolutely perfect.
I don’t know why when we search using Ctrl + F it doesn’t work as it should. It shows how many times a word appears, but not if the block is collapsed. And even if it is not, if I have many blocks this way is very, very hard to find the location the text is because clicking next won’t make Kodular block screen change to where the text is.
