great extension but why it doesn’t work in app inventor ?
and wouldn’t it be to use AndroidX instead of android support ?

Please add these things

It will be the best extension

A great extension but not customizable after the first used

No icon can be changed using blocks

and this not work
blocks (13)

How can i add this extension ?

why this extension is not working in Mit App Inventor ?

Nice extension
 Let me check it
Edit:
few quick suggestions

  1. add an option to use material icon font instead of uploading an image.
  2. add an option to show hide icon title.
  3. add an option to customize menu item background color. ( by default its gray)
  4. add an option to differentiate selected item. (like on Kodular by default Bottom navigation component.)
  5. add some transaction animation to make it even cool. Few examples

    i)

    ii)

    iii)
    Bottom3
    iv)
    Bottom4
    v)
    Bottom5

Don’t take it seriously. it’s just a suggection

By the way great contribution.

Nice work , keep it up!

Your Extension does not support AndroidX Libraries ,
you have to update it with X libraries

Your extension looks awesome, but a note, as I tested it doesn’t work on App Inventor. You should add a notice about the platform compatibility to the first post.

Or maybe you can add a option to not hide the Title Bar.

When you change the screen orientation, BottomAppBar-Extension v1 disappears. And no longer appears even if the screen is turned back.

In addition to this list
6) add an option to show and hide the app bar

All the animations and UI you provided require a way to overlap the components otherwise if we use it directly it will not look good.

Is there a way we can turn this extension visiblity to off?
