[Free] Extension OneSignalSend | Send onesignal notification from app itself | October Version 5 , Send by custom filter

I agree.
I see this in many applications, and I really find it useful.
As a user, I would leave the notification for later.
If it appears while I use the app, it will confuse me, as it has nothing to do with the content or the actions I took inside it. This came from outside.
That would be an interesting improvement.

But this does not apply to chat notifications for example. In this case, it is annoying even to receive a PUSH in the notification tray if you are already chatting.

Therefore, this should be optional:

Notify inside the application: Yes | No

Hello everybody

@Jerin_Jacob I also think the expansion is great
It works for me, I can send push messages to everyone or to individuals.

BUT !!
This cannot be used for my chat app :frowning:

As others write here, the chat recipient always receives an in-app notification that he has received a message, although he also sees this in his chat :frowning:

I need your help. What do I have to do so that the push notification only comes when the user is not in the app?
I created a segment in Onesignal for inactive users.

Can I control that the chat recipient only receives the message if there is an inactive user in the segemnet?

So a mixture of send to playerID and segment.
Send to PlayerID e247629473-4838 and Segment inactiveUser?
Or do you see another way to switch off this in-app notification?

Unfortunately, the following does not work :frowning:

Can you try I again I think it has been solved

Do you have an example of how you would solve the in-app message not appearing?
Or how you can suppress this.

@Jerin_Jacob
I tried it.
I redirected the notification to a text field. That worked.
the in-app notification came anyway.

Can you turn off the in-app notification? Your expansion takes a huge leap forward!

Hello everybody,

I have the solution!!

The Push_Notification1 component of Kodular does not work for this (BUG !?)

I used the following components:

I removed the push notification from Kodular!

It works with the method from this extension.

Now everyone who is not on the screen will receive the notification.
No more in-app notifications!

Can anybody having the API key and App ID send the message to users?
From security point of view, this isn’t good.

Hi @akim_akim,
Where did you use the extension mentioned by you? In your blocks section, I don’t see it anywhere.
Thanks!

Download aix from github - link provided above

Hi @dora_paz,
Thanks for your concern but I know where to download the extension from. Just wanted to know where did @akim_akim use the extension in his/her project because I don’t see the extension’s block(s) in the blocks’ image provided by him/her.
Thank you!

See above image, the green arrow

I used two extensions
the one from here from Jerin_Jacob (main topic) and the one from Jarlisson2 from my link

@akim_akim I really need help. i tried your method but the in-app notification arrives anyway. Please, it’s for a school project

Please be patient and wait for an answer if there is one. No need to keep asking for help.

do you show your blocks? What have you done?
