I agree.
I see this in many applications, and I really find it useful.
As a user, I would leave the notification for later.
If it appears while I use the app, it will confuse me, as it has nothing to do with the content or the actions I took inside it. This came from outside.
That would be an interesting improvement.
But this does not apply to chat notifications for example. In this case, it is annoying even to receive a PUSH in the notification tray if you are already chatting.
As others write here, the chat recipient always receives an in-app notification that he has received a message, although he also sees this in his chat
I need your help. What do I have to do so that the push notification only comes when the user is not in the app?
I created a segment in Onesignal for inactive users.
Can I control that the chat recipient only receives the message if there is an inactive user in the segemnet?
So a mixture of send to playerID and segment.
Send to PlayerID e247629473-4838 and Segment inactiveUser?
Or do you see another way to switch off this in-app notification?
Hi @dora_paz,
Thanks for your concern but I know where to download the extension from. Just wanted to know where did @akim_akim use the extension in his/her project because I don’t see the extension’s block(s) in the blocks’ image provided by him/her.
Thank you!
