NAMES (my first extension)

Hello everyone! :wave:   I’m happy to introduce my first extension, called Names.

Short description

This extension allows you to predict some information about a name, such as:

  • Age :cake:

  • Nationality :world_map:

  • Gender :man: :woman:

Blocs

The blocs are really easy to understand:

predage     PREDICTS THE AGE OF A NAME

predgender     PREDICTS THE GENDER OF A NAME

prednationality     PREDICTS THE NATIONALITY OF A NAME


These blocs produce the following events:

agepred     RETURNS THE PREDICTED AGE & THE GIVEN NAME

probpred     RETURNS THE PREDICTED GENDER & IT’S PROBABILITY

natpred     RETURNS 3 PREDICTED NATIONALITIES (IN ORDER)

NOTE: If there are no results, it returns a null string (if it’s a number, a 0)

In the following example, we will predict the nationality of a name:

I think Using the style of the name It will predict the year then age or guess

Interesting extension @Markus_Urban .
And congratulations on your first extension.

If I would guess then he might be using an API. Something I searched on google :sweat_smile:

Still you can’t be correct all the time :slightly_smiling_face:

Eg. name - David

He can be a 50 yrs old
He can be a 14 yrs old
He can be a 10 months old

thats correct @themaayur we can predict country or gender but age is hard to predict

Hi @Alaqmar_Bohori ! I found three curious APIs (https://agify.io/, https://genderize.io/ & https://nationalize.io/) and decided to use them to create my first extension :grinning:

this is just for fun only. But the sad part is it says age as 0 for my name :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob: :sob:

the companion closes somewhy but before closing i saw the results it was that my age 31 well thats totally not my age
