Get list of all users using app

I am creating a chatting app and what I want is each user will have his own user id/number
if i want chat with xyz i search his user id i.e. for eg. 345627 and then i will get the result and for eg. i have written half the id and there are 100 more users with same starting i want display there list with the option to send them invitation to chat.
