How to make point system more secured?

I wanted to create a point system which can be earned by few methods.how shall i make sure that someone doesn’t use some technique to alter his/her points ? Also please tell me do u prefer storing points of each user’s online on( firebase and airtable) or in their own devices by tinydb.

If you replace point like 1=A, 2=B, 3=C
