Are you sure you are talking about the launcher icon?
To change it, you’ll need to edit the Manifest, which shouldn’t be possible within your app (programmatically).

I don’t know about the clock but I have seen the inbuilt calendar apps changing their launcher icon every day. Is it something to do with the app being inbuilt and not downloaded?

Maybe this is possible with an extension, but not with Kodular (components).

Yes, that would be a nice feature for apps, not least mine, as some of my users have occasionally complained about my launcher icons.

No, it’s not possible with AppInventor.
You either need to write manifest manually or wait till AppInventor introduces activity-alias tag besides Activities.
To know the answer you should search on Google.I just did that and explanations were satisfactory.
