Is this normal in listview? (lost html)

Hello.

I’ve been showing several random text which has html code ‘br’ on label1 and if user click save button it is saved on list tiny db.
When user picks on the list, the text is shown on the label1 but it lost its html code (no ‘br’ code) even if both label1 and listview are HTML format checked.

(so I made label2 and shows the picked text and it works well with html code. (HTML format : unchecked)

Is this normal? I am confused. Isn’t Html format checked meaning html code allowed?
