Make sure all your extensions are up to date.
@Taifun mentioned that the issue is with Kodular itself, while you indicated that it may be due to an outdated extension. Before the Kodular update, the APK was generated normally, but now I receive the ERROR: d8 when attempting to compile. However, when I remove the OneSignal extension from @iamwsumit , I can generate the APK without this error.
If this is related to the Kodular update, I would greatly appreciate it if the @Kodular could investigate and provide a solution. If it is an extension issue, I would be very grateful if @iamwsumit could update it, allowing the project to continue smoothly.
Thank you so much for your attention!
Several people here in this thread get the d8 error since a few days… it would be interesting to know from those people, which extensions they are using in their projects and if they are able to build if they remove that extension

I know that we are not responding to the bugs. But we want to let you know that we are observing this issue and working on a fix.
I had the d8 error. I removed vknow Cloudinary extension version 1.2 and it will build an apk now. I can not find a newer version than 1.2, which was created in 2022.
you able to build?
Any update? We are waiting for a response from you. My ongoing projects are paused bcz of this and clients are also doing trouble.
Try to fix this issue ASAP and let us know please
Thanks.
@MahtabNihar I earlier faced the same issue and cannot export to APK, and I’m not sure the reason same as mine or not.
My issue was the extention file might be old version and when I removed it the exportation issue no longer happen.
Because before that I tried to export other testing app project and no issues.
So you might triy to import some other sample AIA file, or try to create a basic test app project and test export out so that know which are the root cause.
Hope this helps
Even if the issue is with extension version then it’s not possible to update 5-10+ extensions. Not every extension developer will update their extension. So Kodular must have to give us a valid solution.
I tried with no extension and that export perfectly but it doesn’t matter. I’ve 7-10+ extension in my main paid projects. I can’t update all of them there or replace with alternative.
This is an issue from Kodular side and they have to fix it.
He replied which means it won’t be fixed like ad manager crash. Kodular is dead.
If the issues are not resolved within this month, everyone should consider terminating their premium subscriptions and moving to another platform en masse. kodular no longer has a strong team to operate.
Same problem Here !!!
For me the culprit was the Push Notifications component that is found under the Social Pallet tab. I removed it and my project could now export.
I hope this information is useful to someone and can also help Kodular @Kodular to troubleshoot and find a solution.
I also thought about this but when I removed all of them. Still i couldn’t export it.
I don’t have this component on my projet and still can’t export the APK file
In my case push notification was causing issues
I got this error without any extension. I’m thinking like that server will be busy so not exporting, but after 30 to 50 tries, not exporting run D8 occurs everytime.
@pavi2410 @KodularCreator any update? How more time we can wait? We are under pressure from client. if you can’t keep the maintenance for budget. then increase the subscription cost but don’t compromise on service.
We are badly waiting for the solution of this.
Good for you, hope they can fix the problem soon
I use a lot of extensions in my App and I can’t easily find which one causes the problem.
I’ll make a copy of the project, and I’ll try the remove the extensions one by one until I find the one that causes the issue
I’ll share the result here.
