Need Help Activity Starter?

When i give custom package name to my app; the activity starter don’t work and give the following error: Runtime error: attempt to invoke virtual method ‘android.content.res.xmlresourceparser android.content.pm.providerinfo.loadxmlmetadata(android.content.pm.packagemanager(java.lang.string)’ on a null object

The activity starter details:
Action: android.intent.action.VIEW
DataUri: file:///storage/emulated/0/pdf.html

please refrain from posting that solution in very old threads…
there once was an activity starter bug in Kodular so it does not help very much to dig out those old threads
