Push notifications with closed app

Greetings,
I am trying to set up push notifications on my app, but to no avail.
I have an app for my website that works fine.
I am trying to be able to send via onesignal or other services, push messages to my users when there is news on the blog, but I would like to receive push messages even when the app is closed.
do you have any advice?

thanks for the reply, that’s what i’m doing following various guides, but to no avail.

The problem is that with latest Kodular’s release targeting SDK 30 push notifications do not work. It is a known bug so whatever guide you follow it won’t work
