I want to show a message to the user once upon opening the application
How can I do it ?

Check if application is run for the first time

What is it for? When you want to show something (or do anything else) when screen1 initialize. But only when user runs app for the first time. User guide / explanation of user interface etc. is just an example. Blocks --> [blocks] AIA and APK --> checkfirstrun.aia (2,1 KB) checkfirstrun.apk (4,1 MB) Of course it will work with APK only. Why do you need aia file just look at the blocks

You can use this procedure to check anywhere in your app if it’s the first time your app is running.

The procedure returns True if it’s the first run and False if not
