Before add ( .file) diratory… working properly…
After add (.file) example (.statuses)… tifun file not working…
What is the problem… any one give me the solution#tifun

EDIT: sorry, I just have seen you are trying to access /Android/media...
generally this still is possible… however for Whatsapp there are some hidden folders (starting with a dot) like the .Statuses folder inside the /Android/media/com.whatsapp/WhatsApp/Media folder which does not seem to be accessible…

You mean need manage all fil permission is needed for private diratory seen???

Since I have never used WhatsApp and never will, I took a device from my kids who are unhappily using WhatsApp. I copied a text file into the folder /.../Statuses, list the files there and read the text file:
Note: I listed the files with its relative paths.

By the way, if the filename is known, you can check if it exists. However, the file cannot be accessed without using SAF.
