Build Failed after New Release

Hi There,

is there a way to get an advanced error Message for the Build Log?
When i try to Build my App, i only get this Message.

Eine Fehlermeldung auf einem Bildschirm zeigt an: "Build failed! Cannot read the array length because 'b' is null" mit einer Option zum SchlieĂźen (Dismiss). (Beschriftet durch KI)

I search for this Message and it seems it have somethong to do with File/ Storage but i dont know why or where to search to fix it.

Thnak you.

Hi Alex,

I guess you saw this post,

Are you requesting the file size of something?

Hi RaYzZz, yes for the Progress Bar i request the size.

And yes it was this post

So i need to disable the Progress Bar/ request size to fix it?

Edit: Maybe i try to set the size to zero before

The post refers to the use of File.FileSize,
if it is not a problem you post your .aia file.

Hey thanks again for your Reply

Upload the AIA file is difficult, its an not Published app for my Company and there are many Company ip Adresses, connection to servers and more

Is there a way i could debug myself?
Becouse the Error Message told me nothing

No problem, I totally understand.

Do you have any extension installed?

Hey yes, a few of them

Wow, (as a poor guy I’ve always been stuck at 5 :joy:)
Anyway, did you previously export the APK without errors? do you remember if the problem showed up after adding an extension?

Last Friday i exportet it Withot errors, today i try to export it again (nothing changed) and now i get this error

I’m not sure but at this point I really think it’s a problem with the latest update of Kodular,
I guess you updated to 2025.8, correct?

Yeah correct. I hoped i could maybe fix it to get it running.

Changing the version of the companion will not solve the problem because it is an issue with the Compiler Server.
I only wanted to know if you were experiencing problems with the companion as well.

Sorry :raising_hands:@Diego :raising_hands: if I’m tagging you, and I know you’re working on many other things, but I think your help is needed here.

The user reports that

I believe it is related to the platform update.

@Alex can you please let me know the Project ID (it’s in the URL after the #)? Also, may I access it in Read Only mode, to see if I can replicate the issue?

Hey Diego, the Project ID is: #5327821678313472

Yes you can take a look of it, thank you

I think it’s because your subscription may have expired. I am actually getting this error:

When checking your status, I can actually see the Yearly plan expired on 17th August 11:56 UTC, which looks quite close to the time you started to face the error.

EDIT: To confirm, can you open a new Incognito window, and try to build it from there? Something may be wrong in your current session.
