I am working on a board game but i dont know how i can make board and its players icons please help i want a game like ludo or snake and ladders only for idea how it works.

I tried to make a ludo (1 year ago), but the pawns actually eat each other in the safe space. 
So there were troubles. That’s why I gave up making Ludo. But I have learned that it is really hard.
I didn’t say this is impossible. Yes, it is possible, but you need to think and make logic part of board games. 
Because you need to check every tile in a board game to move and other things.
