Canvas: New property Extend Moves Outside Canvas is not working correctly

I just tried the new property Extend Moves Outside Canvas and when checked does the same as when is not checked.

For example, If I’m moving a sprite and I touch any border of the canvas, the sprite gets stopped. That will be the right behavior when the property is NOT checked, but it does the same when IT IS checked.

Besides, I noticed this is NOT checked by default when it should be checked to keep the apps working as they did before this implementation.

Does it work correctly in App Inventor? The behaviour should be the same in both platforms.

Oh, I haven’t tried that yet, I’ll check that.

Nevermind! I created this thread by mistake! :grimacing:
Everything is working correctly! :+1: Sorry!

But the last point I think is valid, I mean the canvas registered movements outside the canvas before. For legacy, shouldn’t the option be checked and keep working as it did before?
In App Inventor is unchecked by default also.

That is a valid point, I agree. But since this is a feature MIT added, it’s probably best to ask them why they decided to disable it by default.
