Google Play restricts the use of high risk or sensitive permissions, including the SMS or Call Log permission groups.

And android.permission.READ_SMS is a sensitive permission. So you can’t able to upload or approved the app on the playstore if this permission contains. As this permission is used for a small task but You should only access Call Log or SMS permissions when your app falls within permitted uses and only to enable your app’s critical core functionality.

in my sms otp contance date and the otp 8digit code, and when it catches the sms it automaticly get the year 2022 and not the 8 digits number how can i fix it ??
