Does Unresponsive YouTube Player Violate YouTube Policies?

As user can’t click on
Watch Later, Share, More Videos on pause
Does it violate YouTube/Google/Play-Store policies

For that you must read the YouTube Policies. :grin:

Maybe here.

I see this type of unresponsive player in Snaptube app which does not follow YouTube policies at all (Content copyright)

Found this in Permissions and Restriction section of YouTube TOS

  1. circumvent, disable, fraudulently engage, or otherwise interfere with the Service (or attempt to do any of these things), including security-related features or features that: (a) prevent or restrict the copying or other use of Content; or (b) limit the use of the Service or Content;

That’s why Snaptube is not on Google Play. But if you want to break the functionality of the YouTube Player and publish your app to Google Play, yes it violates the policies.
