Just curious, what is the use of collecting user data(like gmail id, profile picture and other info) for a quotes app?

According to my understanding users data is only needed when you are providing any service to users or users are consuming your provided sevice. For example an E-commerce app.
In such apps user data is needed whenever user provides a feedback on consumed sevices.

But you may have different reason to collect user’s gmail account id and other related stuff. Just wanted to know that.

I need user credentials for using the app for premium subscriptions and services.
I decided to add premium subscription feature in the app in future.
