How do I save text locally in my app?

I have searched the community before but could not find the answer
I am trying to creating an app with a feature in which they can save text (like notepad)
but when the user quits and re-opens the app, the text is cleared. I have used these blocks but they aren’t working:

First time tiny db stores and after it tinydb updates the value
