You can upload the image, push it direct link using QR Code server API and get the response including the QR Text

I dont think that OCR technology can read qr codes as they recognize character from the images and qr code is a pattern based mode of storing info, if you want to do that then use qr/bar code reader from components and if they can not give your result from images than find a online service with API which offer that service, I hope it cleared your doubt
