Image - can or cannot display image from URL?

So I had the understanding that an Image component could display an image if the image was a URL. (Eg: domainname.com/image.jpg

I cannot get this to work in my app. This is my code. The URL does exist - I can view the image in my desktop browser as well as in the webviewer in my app.

What am I missing? Thanks.

This is so weird! Grrrrr.

I was able to determine my bug.

I was using https. I change my URLs to http and the images are fine now. Fwiw, the pictures are determined by a WebViewString.
