no, i asked when need premium, this is question?
How will I get charged?
âKodular Monetize has two billing phases: activation fee, and usage based billing. Once you pay the one time fee, you own the license forever, even if you stop using Kodular and then come back. Then, on the 2nd of each month, you will receive an invoice to pay for the past month usage.â
âactivation fee, and usage based billingâ
I can choose either of these two options as per my convenience. ?
If I activate the option with a fee, I will no longer need the other one?
If I activate the app for a fee, will you do any kind of tracking on my app?
Do I still have to pay the activation fee even though I am a premium user of Kodular?
I hope I get answers to my questions.
Do you mean to ask when we need premium ?
If yes
You can read about kodular premium here
All the information related to kodular premium is menstioned there
You donât get it buddy!
Activation fee is something you pay to activate your kodular monetisation feature and you need to pay it to use this feature there is NO EXCEPTION for it and after that your will be billed by your usage also there is a limit if your usage is under the limite the invoice for that month will be â0â
As stated above there is no such âoptionâ
Well there will be no free activation for it and regarding tracking thing check this out !
Well for now yes you do have to pay for activation even though you are a premium member, but hey its a one time fee not a recurring fee !
Hope you got answers to all your questions .
Premium and Monetize are unrelated. Premium is more for âenabling more featuresâ which are not related to monetization.
Only to measure events, way less aggressive than ad networks.
Yes, they are unrelated as mentioned earlier.
What you mean is that even if you pay the activation fee, there will be usage-based billing which will have to be paid every month.
Can I use other monetization extensions??
What is the cost associated with Kodular Monetize?
- Kodular Monetize Activation License: this is a one-time activation payment, granting access forever to all components.
- For Public Preview users, the fee is 5 EUR.
- For anyone else acquiring it in 2025, the fee is 10 EUR.
- On or after 1st January 2026, the fee is 15 EUR.
- Kodular Monetize Usage: on the following month after events are recorded, you will receive an invoice with the total amount of events that occurred in your app.
How is the usage-based pricing calculated?
There are three variables to take into account when calculating the usage-based pricing:
- Country where the event occurred: there are 3 tiers, or groups of countries. These tiers have been determined based on purchase power parity (PPP) and average revenue per user (ARPU) in each country.
- For example, an ad served in the United States will be charged at a higher rate than an event occurring in India.
- Event type: there are different types of events, such as ad impressions, clicks, etc. Each event type has a different price.
- For example, an ad click is more expensive than a normal not-clicked ad impression.
- Number of events: the total number of events that occurred in your app during the month.
- For example, showing 2M ads in a month will have a lower âper adâ charge than showing just 1M ads. The higher the usage, the cheaper it is.
There is a free allowance to allow for testing and new apps to get started. If you serve ads within the free allowance, an empty invoice will be generated. You can see the full list of prices in kodul.ar/monetize-rates.
then why we need premium?
As mentioned above:
@Diego This update will add the pdf_viewer option to view PDF book.
I propose adopting a simple, one-time annual subscription model (e.g. $5 per year) to activate the official ad components (AdMob and Google Ad Manager), instead of the current usage-based monetization system.
We do not support removing external extensions entirely.
The best approach is to keep external extensions available as an optional tool, with a clear disclaimer that they are not officially supported â and let the developer decide based on their appâs needs.
We sincerely hope the Kodular team will consider this proposal seriously, as it offers a more balanced approach that supports both the platform and its user community.
