how to fix this problem?
restart the companion app after adding an extension
depending on the extension you might not be able to use the companion app to test, in this case build the app and test using the apk file

It is a old bug. Me too suffered a lot about this and one user suggest me to roll back to old version and found working. But everytime it will alert to update, sometime overnight it will autoupdate to latest.
