Am I doing this wrong? Is there a difference in how these components handle file paths?
Hi Yarbskoo,
Welcome to the Kodular community!
Try removing file://
Probably ![]()
Hi RaYzZz, thanks for the reply!
Removing the file:// from the path seems to have no effect on either component. List_View_Image_and_Text1 still shows the image, Image1 still doesn’t.
The problem doesn’t seem to be how the component is set up in Designer, as it displays images just fine when the path is replaced by a web address, and if it was a permissions issue surely neither component would be able to access the image. ![]()
I confirm,
List_View_Image_and_Text
- Without
file://→ works - With
file://→ works
Image
- Without
file://→ does nothing - With
file://→ asks for permissions, then crashes.
After restarting the app and trying to set the image again, it gives an error.
The permission Unable to complete the operation because the user denied permission has been denied. Please enable in the Settings app.
(Even though I granted the permission)
Hi @bodymindpower and @Taifun,
I hope I’m not bothering you, I know you both have a lot of experience with storage.
Do you have any advice for us?
