Vibration not lasting for a specific time period

i testing a vibrator app for my upcoming project. i want to vibrate the phone when button1 click, and the vibration should stop when user click on button 2. but when i click button1 it’s vibrating for 1-2 seconds. can anyone suggest me how to make the vibration last long till user click button2…
