What is "ShowUser" in MapViewer?

The ShowUser in the Properties of MapViewer1 is used to Show the User (Just like a marker), but the Marker in ShowUser Is like Google Maps, and here’s what the Marker Looks Like:location

How to Set the Latitude and Longitude?

To set the Latitude and longitude, here are the blocks that you can use.

(As @RaYzZz told me, like Google maps Version - The Map Viewer of Google maps would not initialize.)

How to Use These Blocks?

First, you need a Clock1 component to make it repeat.
Just like This!

But Set the TimeInterval to 1000

:warning: WARNING! :warning:

Setting the TimeInterval to 0 Results in This Behavior.

  • The Battery Will Drain Fast :skull::low_battery:
  • While in Battery saver mode, this may drain fast
Milliseconds Seconds Speed Battery Drains
0 0 none none
1 0.001 Second Super Fast Drains Faster
1000 1 Second Normal (Standard) Drains Normal
5000 5 Seconds Slow (Easy) Drains slow
10000 10 Seconds Slow (Medium) Drains Slowest
50000 50 Seconds Slowest (Very slow - Hard) Drains Very slow (Good For Battery Life)

Have you learned about what ShowUser Means?

Yes, I have learned about that. Thanks! Ahmed

Hi Ahmed,

You could also add a version with Google Maps, which provides this block
component_event

Take a look at this guide.

You could create a complete one with all possible methods.

No, the Google Maps Component Would Not initialize the Map…

Oops, I have to apologize :folded_hands:.
as I don’t use it very often, I didn’t notice :man_facepalming:

However, the location sensor has a function for changing position either based on a preset time or based on how far you have moved from your last position.
Have you tried? It wouldn’t be a bad implementation.
